Halal Food in Osaka

A few days before our trip to Japan, my sister showed me MizzNina's IG. She was in Osaka with her husband, Noh Hujan and they had halal meals at Kenny Asia. Great! Because I haven't done any research on where to eat in Osaka.

The owner of this restaurant is a Malaysian guy. Mr Kenny is a Penangite, married to a Japanese and has been living in Japan for a while.

Mr Kenny was extremely friendly and welcoming. He's a one man show chef so do expect some waiting during busy hours. Luckily there's only a group when we walked in so we didn't wait that long. There's also free WiFi so you will be occupied while waiting for the meals to be served.

We tried the chilli crab and sambal nasi goreng with teh tarik and it was sooo good!

We chitchatted for a while when he came to serve our food. Most of the ingredients were brought from Malaysia when he returned for holiday so no wonder the food taste exactly like home.

I highly recommend this place for your halal meals or simply if you'd like to experience real Malaysian cuisine in Osaka.
It's home away from home :)
