Nepal : Visa Application

Malaysians need visa to enter Nepal.

But fret not, we can get Visa On Arrival (VOA) at Tribhuvan International Airport, or other Entry Exit points at the land border. Just bring along one passport sized photo with you. The procedure is very quick and simple, but expect some queues during peak season.

You need to fill in a form on paper or at the kiosk. If you want to save time, you can fill in the form online before flying. Then you can directly go to the visa fee payment counter once you enter the immigration hall.

Pay the visa fee.

The VOA fee is as below:

*Update Aug 2019*
I heard the visa fee has increased. 15 days $30, 30 days $50, 90 days $125

Many currencies are accepted. Credit card can also be used.

After you're done with the payment, queue for the immigration check. Present your form and visa fee's receipt, and get your visa.

If you prefer to have visa in advance before flying, you can apply for it at the Embassy of Nepal.
